About the Business
G. J. Locksmiths was set up in 1985 operating initially as mobile locksmiths. In 1993 we moved into a small retail shop unit in Enfield Town Station. We are now based in retail premises very close to Hatfield House in Old Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Being both company and individual members of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA), the oldest and most prestigious trade association, underlines our professional approach towards our business. We are also members of the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses).
You will find we have a friendly and approachable outlook towards our customers. We enjoy helping people. You may have seen the many 'local locksmths' advertising online and in the normal 'pages'. Many local locksmiths are in fact companies operating nationally using supposed local phone numbers and incomplete, and therefore fictitious, local addresses. For example, in our local area 01992 numbers can be purchased that get instantly diverted to any other phone number - anywhere in the country.
